If it's so irrelevant and so easy, why hasn't anyone done it?

Free agency has been around for 15+ years.  The '07 Pats were the perfect storm of already-accomplished-franchise, ridiculous offseason acquisitions (Moss), lack of injury and (quite importantly) asshole coach.  Even they couldn't pull it off.

The haters try to downplay the significance of '72, but every new season proves just how special that team was.

Going undefeated just isn't relevant anymore.

it most certainly is. until it is broken, it will always be relevant.
