My SOTG goes to Ricky Williams, Lex Hilliard and our weekly contributor Gibril Wilson.

This proves that Ricky is tiring down at the age of 32. Even though he had over 100 yards on 20 + carries, hes got to hold on to the ball.

His backup hasn't shown me anything at all. I don't see why Tepop is against Ronnie Brown. Wih Brown, the Dolphins are more dangerous.

Wilson had inside responsibility on that dinosaur Torry Holt and got caught looking into the backfield. Why, I don't know because it was 3rd and 13. He has got to go.

ricky had 2 bad fumbles today.  the first one was a stretch toward the first down marker at the sideline.  Not really a chance of a turnover there. Gibril got beat on one play. yea it was bad, but nobody on the defense deserves SOTG today.  With as many 3 and outs the defense produced today, the game shouldn't have even been close.  Henne wasn't that good, and should have been picked another time on a terrible throw right to a linebacker. Nobody really stood out today as great or terrible.  Hard to pick a game ball or SOTG.

In a game where Ricky put the ball on the ground 3 times, it comes as a huge shock that Tepop finds it "hard to pick" a shame of the game. Had Ronnie done exactly what Ricky did today, Tepop would've spent the next month going totally nuts about it.

Ricky is my SOTG. HM to Henning for being an idiot at calling plays.

Ricky Williams had 28 carries today.  He is a workhorse, Ronnie isn't.  Ronnie has had 15 out of 60 games with more than 20 carries, and his career high is 29.  He has done 29 once, his next high is 26. AND HE STILL MANAGES TO GET INJURED EVERY YEAR.

Funny how you count Ricky's 2 fumbles, (one on the sidelines, which didn't really matter), but ignore when henne throws a pass straight to a linebacker and he drops it.

And please feel free to link me to a post where I give Ronnie a SOTG after having a 100 yard game with 1 lost fumble.

I'm not ignoring anything. I think it's pretty clear to everyone but you that the ONLY thing I'm doing is pointing out your blind hatred of Ronnie Brown and the hypocrisy of your comments throughout. You have ZERO ability to comment objectively on the performance of Ronnie and Ricky. Even your multi-message response to my taunt shows how you use every chance to skew data to fit your point of view. You know damned well that the only reason Ricky had 28 carries today is that Ronnie is injured. When both were healthy, you could do nothing but rant about how Ronnie was taking all Ricky's carries.

You further "oh, but Ricky's fumbles didn't really matter" bullcrap is just too pathetic to respond to.

So wait, fumbles that aren't lost don't count, but interceptions that are dropped do count?

I couldn't see the game, but looking at the statline, it says that Bess had 2 fumbles (1 lost).  If this is accurate, then I'd give SOTG to Bess.  Ricky at least did some work to compensate for his fumbles... Bess was invisible today.

I got into this debate with Tubba-Sparxx two weeks ago.

Williams is good for a couple of games with 25 plus carries but hes more effective with Ronnie Brown getting the ball 15 times a game.

Ricky runs straight up and takes a lot of chest shots. He's 32 not 26 and at his age, no matter how much yoga you do, those chest shots will start affecting him.

Lex Hilliard is no Ronnie Brown but this was his chance to show something and he hasn't. I don't know whether the mental strain of playing running back and then running down on special teams affect him. In the NFL these days, you do need a 1 and 1A tandem of running backs.

The Dolphins are going to have to find ground yardage in other ways besides Ricky because running the Rickster for 28 times or in the plus 20 area, I believe that we will see more fumbles and him tiring out. No offense to Ricky but he is 32 years old.

Tepop, you're ridiculous, as you argued to ME once that Ronnie had two fumbles this year and Ricky only one, and this was yet another reason Ricky was better. Ricky fumbled not twice but THREE times in a game.  Clearly, he gets SOTG, and I mean CLEARLY.  It's no real shame to him, he's still the best player on the roster right now.  But you, Chuck, need to take your rose-colored glasses when it comes to #34, as clearly you believe him to be incapable of wrong.

Plus, comparing fumbles-not-lost to near-interceptions thrown is ludicrous.  Nearly every time a QB throws, there's a chance for a pick.  Not every running play from scrimmage results in a fumble that may or may not be recovered.

Yes, clearly broken bones and knee ligaments are things that don't affect workhorses.  If Brown were pulling hamstrings every few games, you might have a point.

Ricky for the fumble he lost and Gibirl Wilson for biting on the inside move for about the 60,000th time and giving up the 60 yard bomb and a pass interference penalty on the goal line.

Shame of the Game goes to offensive coordinator Dan Henning.  The entire offensive unit went into that locker room in the first half and never came out.  They did everything they could to give the game away.  Three turnovers and a missed FG and not a single point in the second half.

HM to Ricky and Bess for fumbling on what would have been scoring opportunities.
