^^^

no one hates the jets more than me, but they are beating everyone handily.  they just housed the 2 best QB's in the AFC on the road, don't you think after all of this success they aren't afraid and actually think they will win now?  they have the best talent roster-wise of all the remaining teams left in the playoffs.

Please! The Colts were hardly the team of years past and they still got taken to the wire by them. Now they are going against a defense that will get to Sanchez and we have seen how he plays once he gets hit.
That DL will not be getting to Ben with only a 4 man rush. If Revis and Cromartie talk crap this week, Hines might break their jaw in the game.
Face it, the Jets pulled out all the stops to get motivated against the Pats after the skullraping they took on prime time tv a few weeks ago. Now they have to get up against a highly motivated and emotional team coming off a big win at home that hits harder than they do.
Yeah the Jets have it locked up. Roll Eyes

I agree.  Pittsburgh's defense is big, physical, and can stop an 18 wheeler rig.  Plus, they have added motivation that they lost to the Jets in the regular season.  You know they'll be pulling out all the tapes for that one.

If I had to put money on which defense gets to the QB more, I would put it on Pittsburgh.

Giving credit where credit is due. Jets have surprised the hell out of me, as well as NE and Indy. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they took care of Pittsburgh as they did N.E. God this sucks.

One thing to consider:  Big Ben takes a lot of sacks (32 in 12 games, compared to 27 by Sanchez in 16 games, 25 by Brady, and 16 by Manning).  If the Jets can get to Ben (they have to corners to allow time to get there, and Ben does hold the ball) then they can win this game.

Interesting question:

If the Jets do, in fact, win the Super Bowl, do you feel better/worse/indifferent about Jason Taylor joining them in chase of a ring?

Personally, I couldn't care less what happens to JT. Completely indifferent.

I hate the Jets, however, and would under no circumstances feel good/better about them winning the Super Bowl.

I love JT but I absolutely under no circumstance want to see the Jets win the Superbowl and will not be happy for him or anyone if they do.

I just had a terrible vision of JT retiring a Dolphin and going into the HOF wearing a Jets ring!!
