This award isn't for the best team in 2010.  It's for the team that, judging by their direction in 2010, has the best future (5-10 years out-ish).

Who do you think looks to be the most dominant over the next decade?

Kansas City has made vast improvement this season and they have a lot of young guys, so I will go with them.

It's hard for me to pick against the Patriots.   They seem to be set for some time to come.  They have quality veterans, quality young players and a lot of draft picks.  Toss in a good owner and coach, and it's enough to make most Dolphin fans cry.

Ignoring some of the obvious picks, I think San Francisco is going to finally meet expectations.  They have a lot of talent, and I think the weaknesses they have can be addressed in the short term.  I can see San Fran being good for some time to come.  I believe Seattle may be in the same boat, for many of the same reasons.

^^^ Crap...SF signed a real QB while I wasn't looking? Wink

I like the Kansas City pick, and also think Green Bay has a "gotta wear shades" kind of future.

My pick would be the Packers. I think they are primed to be one of the better franchises for the next 5-10 years!!!!!

Tampa Bay.  They went 10-6 starting the most rookies in the league this year.

I want to say the Rams.  I'm wondering what happens when Steven Jackson leaves them, but he's not THAT dominant that he can't be replaced.   However, with the remarkable improvement they made this season, and hiring McDaniels can only make them better.

I think it might be the Falcons.  This is a QB league and Ryan is the best young guy, I think.

Patriots have the best upside, given they have a good team, coach and management; not to mention all the draft picks.  They are geared to be contenders for atleast the next five years, barring major injuries.

As for rebounding teams, the Lions are showing some promise after years of being near the bottom of the league.
