Shortly after that play, I predicted to Lil_B on the show that Beck had started his last game for Miami. I was basing it on his overall performance, rather than that one play, but that play definitely put the ol' exclamation point on his departure orders.

Actually, he played in the last week of the season vs the Bengals. First play under center, the same thing happened.

That would be it. lol

Last game of the season. Cleo Lemon was sucking, so Cam pulled Lemon out for John Beck, and that was his first play under center. I was watching at a sports bar, and when that happened, I looked at the bartender and said "Check please!" That is the only time I've ever walked out of a Phins game in my life.

Lemon got hurt in that game actually.  He wasn't playing that badly.

Really?  I think Beck played the rest of the way and ran for and threw for garbage time TDs.

Nope. I was watching the game shown locally when I got back from the sports bar, and they gave an update saying that Lemon was back in when he scored a TD.
