Pats pick up Shaun Ellis and look what Rex has to say about it.

"The fact that he chose them ... there's no way I'm going to wish him well," Jets coach Rex Ryan told reporters Sunday. "There's no chance of that."

Roll Eyes what a dick.  This guy has been on your team who the Jets drafted in 2000 and no that he has decided to move on from the Jets your not even going to wish him luck. Classact!!

Did Belichick wish Ty Law good luck when he went to the Jets, or Lawyer Milloy good luck when he went to the Bills?

I find Rex' style extremely grating, but I have no problem with this particular sentiment.

Publicly?  Somehow I doubt it.

While I don't recall exactly.  My bet is he didn't publicly wish them well, but he also did not publicly state that he wasn't going to wish them well.  I am also willing to bet that Sapano neither wished JT well nor stated that he wasn't going to wish him well when he went to the Jets.

The difference is what was left unsaid.  Rex has diarrhea of the mouth.
