* An original Nintendo + a couple of specific games - I'm not a collector, but when the family is in town, we enjoy going back and playing some quick "pick up and play" games.  We already do this with the Super Nintendo and the N64.  It'd be nice to throw a NES in there.  I'd also like get some games that I remember well: Jackal, Marble Madness, ...a few others.

All of the other things I want right now are stress-relievers.  I want to get my office cleaned up.  I want to take on fewer responsibilities other than family/work for a little while.  I want to give myself time to enjoy the things I like to do, but more importantly, I want to make sure that I don't feel guilty about the time I spend doing it.

I have an old NES at my mom's house.  Also have Atari 2600 and 7800, as well as Sega Genesis and PlayStation (the original).  And games for all.

Want them?

Uh, yeah.  I don't know if I want them all, but we can work something out on the NES...and maybe the Genesis.

I guess for the 1st time in about the last 10 years,I don't really have a long list,I'm really pretty content with most of my stuff...(sure a new Job would be great, but I'm just happy to have one)

May or June rebuild my computer to an Ivy bridge, and maybe faster HD

(not gonna happen, but if I suddenly stumbled on some loot,It would be on my list of items to purchase)
A new thin bezel Samsung LED T.V. a little bigger than my 52" LCD before opening day.....

Nicer house,in a better neighborhood,that I can afford.(that's a great joke)...

My bestest little friend, Gio the little Italian greyhound, passed away a few weeks ago. Now, I'm on the hunt for new little buddy. I'd like a Boston terrier, but I'm open since I think dogs pick you and not the other way around. (This might take me forever.)

Other than that I desperately want to run a sub 4:00 marathon this year. Just to be a badass after having a bazillion tumors and cysts removed.  It'll make me feel gangsta.  Chicago Marathon - Oct. 7 I'll put up or shut up!

Material things? Nah. I'm good.

This is the one and only material thing on my list.

What I really want is to stop being such a huge fat ass.

I'm sorry for your loss, I had a major scare with one of my dogs recently...

I thought I was the only one that thought they picked us....A strange alignment of stars,I was where I was, that day..He walked over and put his head down on my foot, then followed me around the pet store, like I'm going home with him.It was a no kill shelter, bringing over a few puppies to see if someone would adopt them...

My chow mix,on a whim,I went to the humane society. She sat there by herself watching everyone, walk by her cage, but not like any of the other puppies.I took her outside for a walk,as soon as we made it out the door, she laid on the ground a peed all over herself.

Good luck in finding your new buddy...

A new truck.  My car is just about dead.  I'm in negotiations for a new bright red Ram 1500.

Yeah. I'm just keeping my eyes open. We'll see what I come up with.

Buddha - sorry for you loss.
Sad

I bought an iPad recently.  How did I survive without one this long?

Yeah...it's pretty great....just falls a little short of a laptop, but for most home browing, it's my device of choice.

Agreed, which is probably why I love it so much.  I love my lap top and use the iPad purely for...well...silly things I didn't need to spend $600 on, really.  When you don't need it (iPad) it adds a whole new dimension to how much you enjoy it!

Thanks...I feel so silly being so upset about losing my dog, but my heart is truly broken.
