Go retro with the damn thing or don't change it at all.  This is absolutely ridiculous.  The team hasn't won shit in 30 years now and they're gonna waste all this time and energy on the fuckin uniforms?

^^ yes, the Marlins did it and made gobs of money off it even though they still suck.  Its an effort to create re-birth of a dead team.

I just hope they don't move away from aqua and orange, and they don't change the logo too much.

Its not like the coaches cancel practice to discuss the unforms.

The whole ownership and administration should be thinking about one thing:  Putting a winning product on the field.  Winning.  Not money.  Not uniforms.  Not who we can get to buy a single share in the team so we can get a bump in starpower.

If you take a stew with rotten meat and spoiled carrots and slap on a fancy wine dressing, it is still rancid.  When we start beating the Patriots routinely again, I'll allow them to think about toying with the uniforms.

Coaches don't pick uniforms. The front office, marketing department and a team of other people do. They might run a couple ideas past the players and coaches in January/Feb after the season, but its not like Philbin is taking meetings on this stuff inbetween film sessions.

From what Mike Dee said on the radio the other day. The team might narrow it down to 3 or 4 options and let the fans vote on it. That is one scenario they are kicking around.

^^ This would be a good move for the team - fan involvement.

I think I'm against letting fans pick.

People don't know what they want, in terms of graphic design -- you like what you know and are already familiar with.  But that's not good for branding.

I feel all of those changes, uni's are hideous....I'd definitively, buy less gear..I'd do a lot of old school....

I'd also be against letting the fans vote,I'm sure I don't want 750,000 13-21 year old kids on the internet choose..Enough with the American Idol, voting for everything...

If people voted on the Marlins logo, the current logo wouldn't have been used.

I agree people tend to lean toward what it current, but I am not sure how fans would react to a Marlins-type ugly fest.  People are already on the edge and only the hardcore even still care.
