If that, or something similar is the new logo ... I have to believe it will go the way of New Coke. Most existing fans won't purchase that.

I am sure they will sell a ton of merchandise just like the ugly Marlins shit that sold. I however will continue to rock my "old" stuff purchased the last few years!!!!!

That logo looks like it should be on a box of Massengill's.

I wonder how NE fans felt when the Flying Elvis was introduced in the '90s?  Or DEN fans when they switched to the Mecha-Bronco?

In both cases, it seems like the success immediately following the change may have wiped out the criticism.

Per Armando Salguero's Twitter, Mike Dee assures that the new Dolphins logo has not been leaked anywhere.

I actually like both of the possibilities and will buy some merchandise. Hey at least we are not the pink river dolphins.

It looks like more a logo used for Sea World's marketing and promotions.

Damn, no inspiration there AT ALL.

My thoughts exactly!  first thing I thought... Sea World.  Horrible.

^^^FYI: The Dolphins and Sea World do have a working relationship and a multi-year business deal (not that I think it had anything to do with the logo selected IF that is even the one)

I might be totally off and totally naive....and the last person left who still thinks this isn't the logo. I think this might be all one big swerve to throw the fans off.

We will see in a month

I would not put it past Ross to sell the rights to design the Dolphin's logo to Sea World.

The best leak yet has surfaced on Twitter this morning, and confirms exactly what I suspected:

God no. That's even worse than Adelaide's shitty "Murder of Crows" clash jumper (unofficially known as flock of seagulls or three shades of spew) Embarrassed Angry

Why is it whenever I see this logo the word "flounder" automatically comes to mind? No way I'm purchasing anything with that crap on it.

I just want to take this opportunity to point out that the Collingwood Magpies rule.  No fucked up uni's there.  Peter Daicos is akin to Dan Marino IMHO.

I just looked through Mike Dee's Twitter and didn't see that comment.  I'd love to know WHEN he said that.

I am holding out a very slim shred of hope that this is true........please let this be true!!!!!

You're misunderstanding.  Armardo said on HIS OWN Twitter, that Mike Dee had told him personally that the logo hadn't yet been leaked.
