I didn't like it at first, I still don't really love it, but I like the new jersey design.  I wish they were a bit more interesting around the sleeve area.

I was walking into Chipotle' the other day and this guy was walking out wearing a t-shirt with the new logo on it. It was upside down with a circle and slash over it. I started cracking up and let him know I didn't care for it either. As my daughter and I were discussing it while standing in line I realized I should have gotten a picture of it but it was too late.

I need to look around and see if anyone is making them.  I'm guessing that's a mom and pop kind of thing since I'm guessing it's an infringement of copyright.

I liked the old logo better (actually I liked the original logo and uniform better than anything else) but as logos go, they could have screwed this one up so much worse.

After the logo presentation i was like ewwwww WTF. Angry Angry

Then the unveiling of the entire uniform, my reaction was a lil mixed. Its ok except I firmly want the dolphin tail to swope down instead of up. The Uni is more simplistic.

We  all can agree its no where near as abysmal as the marlins .

Hell people in new england still hate the Flying Elvis. Many would like to see Patriot Pat again.

If the Fins start winning , the new look wil be overshadowed.

I think this is worse than the Marlins change.  The Marlins had no storied identity, so a re-branding made sense.

The Dolphins have a storied franchise, and that logo represents a team that we all grew up loving.  This logo represents more media-buzz bullshit that the fanbase hates already.

I can appreciate the sentiment behind the, well...sentiment in your "history-yada-yada" argument, but on straight graphical quality, it smokes the Marlins logo seven ways to Sunday. The new Marlins logo is one of the cheesiest, lamest pieces of branding art I have ever seen. It looks like what someone might come up with if Whataburger decided to open a theme park.

I agree that on a purely aesthetic level, the old Marlins logo trumps the new one.  But branding is also about new identities and speaking to a general concept with your design, which the new Marlins logo conveys very well, I believe.

The Dolphins logo, I would argue is ALSO less aesthetically pleasing than its predecessor, it successfully conveys a new message that we don't want sent -- that we are soft and new.

As opposed to the hard cartoon dolphin that Miami had before, right?

^^^ exactly...the new Dolphins logo at least represents a dolphin, while the new Marlins logo just looks like the Wally World sign flipped upside down in a storm.

Absolutely, hard lines vs soft lines.  The previous Dolphins had hard-line animation.  The new one has wisps of color.

The lines still look harder than this:

Yes, they do.  If we went from the old, old logo to this, I might be more sympathetic
