Hell yes, and Hell yes...both are on my iPhone playlists. Another Cranberries tune I like...and that really fires me up is "Zombie."

I have everything by the Cranberries. I even cut my hair like Dolores O'riordan in college.

Somebody that I used to know by Goyte reminds me of my ex

Jolly Holiday is my friend and I's song

"You're the inspiration" by Chicago, is the song that describes another friend and me

I really liked that Gotye tune for the first 2-3 million times I heard it. The last 70 million times though, it's started to get a little old.

I dig Chicago, and used to take a ration of shit about it from my hard rock friends when I was a kid. My favorite song by Chicago is still "Hard to Say I'm Sorry."

Music is my life, so it was hard to narrow it down to these:

"I Go To Work" Kool Moe Dee
"It Gets No Rougher" LL Cool J
"Welcome To The Terrordome" Public Enemy
"Summertime" DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
"Release Me" Pearl Jam
"River of Deceit" Mad Season
"Temptation's Wings", "Stone the Crow" Down
"Cowboys From Hell", "I'm Broken" Pantera
"Imperium" (my personal anthem) Machine Head
"Wait & Bleed" Slipknot
"You Lie" Reba
& "That Summer" Garth

REM - Everybody Hurts.  Reminds me of an old friend.

There were two REM songs that could have made an expanded version of my list, "Nightswimming" and "Belong."

Home by the Sea and Mama, both by Genesis would make an extended list.

^^^ I have the "Home by the Sea" and "Second Home by the Sea" as a combo on my iPhone...out-fucking-standing song.

"As we relive our lives in what we tell you..."

I had never heard it until a guy in my platoon turned me onto it at Ft Sill. It is how I discovered Mama as well.

I honestly did not... Taking it a step further, I have no idea what Savage Garden even sounds like.

I will check them out though...

I think you'll be disappointed!

Some from me...

The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright
Brand New - The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows
Finch - Three Small Words
Iron Maiden - Can I play with Madness (Thanks for reminding me B, it dropped off my iPod for some reason!)
My Chemical Romance - Summertime (If you're familiar with their music, give this song a listen, it's very different)
Madina Lake - One Last Kiss

There's probably lots of others but these are the songs I try and get in my head when I want a buzz.

A few from my playlist today that fit...

Counting Crows - Anna Begins

Radiohead - Creep (unedited original)

The Toadies - Possum Kingdom  (strangely enough given the time of year, Dave Gray gave me a ride home from our local fantasy football draft last year, and this song came on the radio. We both said we really liked it, though I liked it because the song lyrics and general theme, while dark and a little twisted was very real and a little spooky. Dave noted something about the composition, regarding how each verse added something to the rhythm or chord progression or something.)

The Refreshments - Pretty much anything off of the Fizzy, Fuzzy, Big & Buzzy album, with a nod to "Nada" and "Blue Collar Suicide."

You are correct, sir!!  I tried listening to 3 different Savage Garden songs, and found nothing worth listening to.

A few more good ones:

Muse - Uprising
Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta
Marc Cohn - Walking in Memphis
My Chemical Romance - Mama
Jen Titus - O Death

'stroke...off topic, but one of the best concerts I went to in recent years was Muse and My Chemical Romance. (I threw on an emo outfit and black eyeliner to fit in.) I had never really listened to Muse and fell in love with them there. They are awesome live!
