Collectibles: Funko Pop

Does anyone collect these?  They seem to be gaining traction in the nerdy collectible world, and they make thousands of different ones for almost everything in pop culture.  For those of you that don't know, Funko is the name of a toy company that makes 3" vinyl figurines with a common look to them, in the images of popular pop culture persona.

My wife started collecting them and she got me a Ryan Tannehill one for Christmas last year.  Anyone get into these?  If so, what are some of your favorites?

I really don't get into the dolls...er...I mean figurines, but those do look pretty cool.

I had never heard of these but have seen one. The bar I play pool for has a John Snow one hanging out. I think it is kind of creepy with the fat head.

I used to really like the McFarlane Sportspicks player collectibles, but I don't see them much in the stores anymore.  I realized that the people who make them would rather make Tom Brady 8 and Peyton Manning 14 than any Dolphins players.  In fact, the only team Sportspicks has NEVER made is the Florida Panthers.  That bugs me.

These are kinda interesting, I like the detail of the different body and accessories.  I just don't know if I'm fanatical enough about any one thing to want to get them.  They are cheap enough - they are usually about $10 or less online.

I have a bunch of these for Campbell, going back to when she was born.  I have mostly bad-ass girls in whatever pop culture my wife and I are into.  We still grab one occasionally.

Charlie (Supernatural)

I am a pretty die-hard Supernatural fan (as is T-God), and Charlie Bradbury is (or was -sob- ) definitely one of my favorite recurring guest characters. The episode "The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo" is still one of my all-time favorites.

Yeah, I've seen the Luongo Gold variant and I've been hoping to get my hands on one but not willing to pay the gold collector's price.  I would probably cut it out of its package and put it on my shelf, so paying over a hundred bucks is out of the question.  That said, if I saw it around for $20 or so, I'd likely be interested.  I'd consider trading a Jason Taylor Super Bowl exclusive for it...

My girlfriend has a bunch of them.  Some of them include Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead (her celebrity crush), the raccoon and Groot from Guardians of Galaxy, and a bunch of Disney ones. 

I think she might be getting me one of Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect for Christmas (Rebel Wilson is the celebrity I have a crush on).
