John Tyler, the tenth president of the United States, was born in 1790

Until recently, he had two surviving grandchildren, one of which recently passed away.

He now has one grandson still alive today.

John Tyler was born in 1790

His son was born in the 1850s.  He was one of fifteen children Tyler had by 2 wives.  This is record for presidents

His two grandsons who lived into the 2000s were born in the 1920s
