The Falcons and Bengals take Pitts and Chase, this makes us trade down with the Broncos at 9. Allowing them to select whichever is left of Fields/Lance or even both if the Niners go Mac Jones. We then select whoever is left of Waddle/Smith. We use the added capital from the Broncos to move up from 18 and select the best O-Line guy left.

No real predictions after this because it changes a lot of things but I still think we aim for one of the best Centers in the 2nd round. Don't know the depth of pass rushers in this draft so maybe switch out the best O-Line guy for the best defensive guy left.

* Six QBs will go in the first round, including a team trading back in to the back of round one to grab either Mills or Trask.

* SF will draft Justin Fields at #3

* Miami's pick at #6 will be JaMarr Chase

* Miami's pick at 18 will be Christian Darrisaw

* Neither SF nor Miami will make any draft trades during round 1

Do you like Christian Darrisaw better than Alex Leatherwood?

If Chase is around at 6, we are definitely taking him and that decreases our likelihood for trading up or down. We may try to trade for the Bucs 1st rounder just to jump the line, but that might be it if we start off with Chase.

I think everyone projects Darrisaw to be better, some even ahve him going in the Top 10.

Leatherwood would be a nice pickup for us with either our first 2nd round pick or a trade up into the late 1st round.

I don't really think there's room for bold predictions.  I'm guessing Pitts and the QBs will be gone, so we'll either take the OT or the best WR.

I think the bold prediction would be to trade up for Pitts or down to get more picks.

Yes...I have Darrisaw as the #3 OT in this class, behind only Sewell and Slater. I also have Jenkins and Cosmi ahead of Leatherwood..

I predicted a trade down if Pitts and Chase are gone. Moving up for Pitts basically says "Yeah, we fucked up by getting too cute". They won't do it.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports that "as of now," Florida TE Kyle Pitts would be the Falcons' selection at No. 4 overall.

Per Russini, the Falcons have "taken calls from just about everyone," but that "there hasn't been an offer good enough to trade back." Russini reports they are "willing to keep listening." This would seem to be the Falcons begging for better offers for a spot that's the highest anyone could move up for on Thursday. Although a special talent, Pitts would be a luxury pick for a roster with massive holes on both sides of the ball. - Rotoworld

The smart play for Atlanta would be to trade down since they have so many holes but if the offers suck then take the best player. I just think the offers are good but they think their pick is worth more than what we got for the 3rd. I would love it if they traded down with a team that selects a QB but they are stubborn and poorly run so I think they stick with Pitts.

There are so many smoke screens being put out by teams on draft day that I wouldn't believe one thing I hear until any team's pick is actually made.

If this is the case, it comes down to the Bengals taking Chase or Sewell.  If their GM is smart, he'll take Sewell.  Burrow is going to be an amazing player if they can protect him.

the noise from ATL about taking pitts and that no offer is good enough is exactly what they would say if they wanted people to give them better offers. This is a ploy .. they're trading out of 4 or taking a QB .. book it

That would be great but never make predictions on what stupid people would do, and that franchise is stupid. I still think they really want to trade down though and are probably milking it for maximum value right until the very end. I know the Broncos are jumping at the chance. If the Falcons don't do it then our pick is the next spot for Fields/Lance.

ESPN is reporting that Aaron Rodgers has told the Packes he wants out and that the Coach, GM and Team President each visited him individually and he said his mind is made up.

I'm only putting this here because this is a pretty huge development and could alter what teams do for a QB. Packers may be forced to get below market value for him if he is serious.

That Jordan Love pick was a disaster form the moment they made it and now it may help sink the franchise for a few years as Rodgers never got over it.

Now Mike Florio is reporting that Rodgers could be traded this weekend. I think if there is any time to trade him, it would be today in order to get maximum value for him. Anything past tonight and the package would have to revolve around future draft picks.
