I learned it this year, you people may have known it already.

NEVER play the root for game until at least late November.

We all rooted for the Broncos to beat the Bills, however, now the Broncos having won that game hurts our playoff chances.

Our head to head victory over Denver only matters if it's a tie between just us and the Broncos.  In a three-way tie, it means nothing.

What are you talking about?  It's mathematically impossible for the Broncos to catch us in any wildcard scenario.
