I had the misfortune of attending this game, and for nearly all of it I was convinced that SF was going to have a perfect offensive game.  SF scored TDs on every drive for the first 3 quarters.  MIA's defense was non-existent; merely a concept of a suggestion.

The only thing that kept the game from being a repeat of 70-20 was MIA's offense chewing up a hell of a lot of clock to drive down the field and kick a FG (or miss it).

Chris Grier. If not for his horrible drafting and really bad contracts we might have a competitive team. As it stands, the much of the best talent on this team right now are rookies. We have no defensive line. This team is far worse than the 2017 team and the 1-16 team regarding talent.

If you are going to blame Grier today, then you may as well shame him every game the whole season.

One of the commentators early on mentioned that Tua alone is being paid more than our entire offense this season. I wonder how many more times that is going to be brought up?

Given it was such an awful game, like last week it's pretty easy to point out a few candidates.

Special Teams spectacularly failed again when it mattered. If the embarrassment of that game doesn't result in improvement, at least they will be cheap to replace.

Credit where it's due, the Defensive Line mostly actually had a pretty decent day nullifying the run. But they still could not generate a sack or decent pressure on the QB all day. Behind them, the youngsters got picked to pieces by a smart coach and talented, efficient offense. This HAS to change for us to have any chance in a game this year. If the D front cannot generate even one pressure on a QB, everyone involved should be sent to the unemployment queue.

Ultimately though, this should go towards a veteran who should play a lot better as a leader of this young team.

It's got to be Austin Jackson.

He has absolutely sucked two weeks in a row, and has no excuse for that performance.

Hahaha ... hopefully we see improvements by some and then I will start criticizing others who are not. Austin Jackson hasn't been very good but he has also faced two of the toughest guys in the league to block.

Have the Dolphins ever benefited by hiring a former Patriot?  Brian Flores, Josh Boyer, Chad O'Shea, Patrick Graham, Jerry Schuplinski?

Let's be clear on who made the decision to reset the team and eat over $180 million of dead cap in one year: Jon-Eric Sullivan, not Chris Grier.

MIA didn't have to get rid of Chubb and Minkah and Waddle.  Those were choices by JES.  And at some point, people will need to ask why most of the best players on the team needed to be shipped out simultaneously.  If it's a naked tank job, then the front office should accept responsibility for the team being this bad on purpose.
