A few little annoyances

Blame - I know Blame has been around for thousands of years,but the past few months,it seems some have to blame someone for everything.Even here on the message board,we're argueing who to blame for Dan Marino not having a superbowl ring.Almost 6 years after his retirement,after he's been voted into the hall of fame(first ballot),10 years after Shula is no longer the head coach,After Shula's in the HOF,ETC,ETC. We're looking for Blame.

Who's to blame for Seattle losing the superbowl,For the Colts losing,ETC,ETC.

Today at work,a guy we've been looking for for a few months,was picked up by some Barney Fife.He was held for 48 hours,then released.Well.someone screwed up,he has $20,000 reward for leads to his cature,more than Barney Fife probably will make in a year.

He didn't show up on anyone's daily's on who was arrested on the the previous day.My Boss had to blame someone for for missing him on the Daily's,It was Sam and I.

The front desk girl broke the coffee pot,she blamed my Boss,for constantly taking the Handle off.Claiming that he never puts the handle back on the right way,so when she picked it up,the handle fell off.So everyone was trying to blame it on someone else...I took responsibility for it...I said It's my Fault...just to shut everyone else up about it....(They know it was all B.S., becuse they know I don't go near the coffee pot)

I'm not even going to go into the healthcare....

Honking the horn - One of my white trash nieghbors has a friend that comes over everyday.When she leaves,she always lays on her horn...Beep,beep,beep,beep beep,beep,beep,all the way till she pulls away.It's not like they didn't just watch her walk out the door,open the gate,close the gate,open the car door,close the car door,and start the car.Now she has to lay on the damn horn...I asked my white trash nieghbors,to ask her to please not honk for ten minutes as she leaves.She now honks everytime she drives by thier house.

A guy in the next office building honks as he pulls away all the time...It's just plain annoying,and rude.

HERE,the law is contridictory to itself.It's unlawful to use your horn,unless passing a vehicle..Blah,Blah,Blah....


Red light cameras- This has been a hot button issue all across America.Well,It came to the armpit of america.The decided to put 4 cameras up around town to take pictures of your license plates when you run redlights.They haven't decided where,but they are going to do it later this year.

I don't care either way,I will avoid all those intersections...I take all backroads anyways.

What bothers me,is their reason,Safety...We're trying to stop red light runners that cause T-bone accidents.So they're going to pay like $200,000 for the system,and 4 cameras..the whole nine yards.They talked about,they wont change the length of a yellow light,it will remain the same.

What about changing the time of the red light? If all 4 lights are red for 3-5 seconds,wouldn't that decrease the likelyhood of T-bone accidents?

Other people's dogs - I love my dogs,most people that aren't Dave Love thier dogs.Around me I get the biggest idiots that walk to the corner store,leave them tied to a pole outside,then walk home.They also know that all the houses around me have dogs with fenced in yards.So they walk thier dogs,and let them Piss,and $h^t,in my yard while they walk them.Or worse yet,don't even use a leesh."Oh my Dog will listen to me"....Yeah right,Not when they see 5 other dogs that start barking as soon as they see them.

Coupons-when I signed up,but didn't buy anything for the first few months I had an account.Ebay sent me weekly,$10 off you next purchase on Ebay coupons.now that I'm buying things on Ebay occasionally,I've not gotten any coupons from Ebay.....

Sizes - Being a fairly bigger guy,and wanting to filter out sizes below 3XL,and getting lots of results of size 54 jersey's in as XXXL,or even a few times 4XL.I admit different brands have different thoughts on what a 3XL jeresy/Shirt is.I've gotten somethings listed as a 5XL,and they're really barely a 3XL.I call them Korean 5X's.

Do you have access to a spike strip?  Or, can a few neighbors block her in the next time she pulls up?  Or, find out where she lives and get everyone and their brother to drive by her house honking.

Red light cameras ... What bothers me,is their reason,Safety...

Red light cameras will INCREASE the number of accidents because now people will slam on their brakes rather than coasting through a yellow light.

When the focus changes from safety to revenue they WILL change the length of the yellow lights.  Every so often a yellow light will be much shorter to trick people into running a red light.

Other people's dogs

We don't have dogs but one of our neighbors does.  For some reason we started getting "doggy bombs" in our yard.  After a few days of this the bombs somehow began being moved from our yard to around the driver's side door of his vehicle - so he'd have to step in/around them each morning on his way to work.  As if by magic, we no longer had problems in our yard.

I'm with you on blaming. Why the hell cant ANYONE accept responsibility for their actions anymore?

Honking the horn...A few years ago, one of my neighbors didnt have a car, so he got a ride to and from work every day (Monday through Friday). Every day at 6AM, his friend picked him up at 6AM, and rather than walking 10 feet and knocking on the door, this idiot would lay on the horn until the neighbor came out. Several of us said something to him, but nothing happened. Several of us went to the apartment management. Still, nothing happened. Finally, we got together and decided to take action. Everyone in the building met up at 5AM one Saturday morning, got into our cars (we all decided to park as close to his windows as possible) and all 11 of us laid on the horns all at once, and didnt stop until he came out to find out what the hell was going on. Once he was outside, all of us gave him the middle finger salute, got out of our cars, and went back into our apartments without saying anything to him. It never happened again.

Red light cameras- This has been a hot button issue all across America.

I have always hated these things because I too feel the cause more accidents than they stop. I could see maybe 1 or 2 at problem intersections but for the most part they are located all over town and it is ridiculous. To make matters even worse they have gone and installed Radar Cameras on the fucking freeway!!!!! Are you fucking kidding me. Now if you go 11 miles over the speed limit you no longer need an officer to pull you over to earn points on your drivers license. They are planning on installing them on all of the freeways in the valley. So....what do we need separate DPS officers for? I think the city cops should be able to handle any other problems that arise as we no longer need to have the Highway patrol....well patrolling the highway. Am I missing something here? What a bunch of shit!!!!!
