Premise: 57 years later, the planet where the original alien eggs were found has been inhabited.  Space Marines are sent on a resue mission, after contact is lost.

Rating: Very Good

This movie is a little more corny than the original film.  There is one pretty bad one-liner, where a space marine yells "You wanna eat something, eat this" and then shoots an alien in the face.  This movie's print isn't quite as dark as the first.  It's still hard to see some things, but it's not annoying.  Overall, it's pretty much what a sequel should be.  It's probably not a better film, but it's more of everything.

Better film,  Sci Fi at its best.  What every sequel should be.   Grin

yeah i thought this one was a little more thrilling than the first one....those marines are bad-ass!!  and how about that power loader scene?
