Sure.  I review about everything I watch, buy, or eat on here.

yes, actually that'd be cool.  I have been going back and forth between plasma or hd projector.  See if you can sell me on the projector, since it seems you're pretty happy with it.

Last week, while on a walk in the park, Dave stepped on a bug and reviewed the sound it made. He then urinated on a shrub, and reviewed that as well.

I have the SP5000by Infocus. I did have one that was overheating but the store where I bought it let me return it no ?'s asked. I still watch most of my tv on my regular tv. The projector has been used mostly for xbox 360, dvd's, hi-def programming, and ppv's. The picture is sharp, colorful and huge. Screen door effect is only noticeable when you get close to the screen. The fan noise is noticeable at first but once you get into your movie or game you dont notice it. Overall I love it. Downsides are lamp replacement costs and room on your wall to mount screen.

I went shopping for one this weekend. How much does the replacement bulb cost and how often? And how big did you go? I was looking at the 92" gray screen.

My nephew has one of these that he got thru a friend and is looking to get rid of. I'll find out what kind it is and how much he wants for it.

I think a lamp is between 350-400 dollars. A buddy of mine got a new one on ebay for 250 and he changed it out at 2005 hours. I got a Da-lite 106" screen from dell.com for like 120 dollars. The gray screen may be better for sharpness.

This sounds like a great testimonial to NOT buy a projector...  Would you reccommend it?  I mean, do I really need a 100" screen?

No you dont need that big of a screen. I just had the room for it and the price was right. We like it for dvd's. Beats paying 20 bucks for movie tix. However if you're gonna put in alot of hours watching cable I would go with a tv. Bulb life runs btween 2-3000 hours on a projector.
