Hard to say, really.

I think the Seahawks are truly blessed with the best homefield advantage in the NFL, and he benefits a lot from that. 

He also benefits from his teammates doing things for him.

Watching him has reminded me of Brady.  He wins, but he gets so lucky, and to quote from somebody on this board, (I think it was Spider-Dan) it seems like other teams just roll over and hand wins to him.

It's unfair to try and compare Wilson or Tannehill to guys that have already played out their careers (Young, Marino, Etc.).  If you go by the throw all the current QB's into a new draft, I'm not sure Wilson would crack the top 10, it would be close though.  Wilson shows signs he could have a HOF career, then again he could become the next Sanchez.

I agree that because of his size, he does have a limited ceiling.  However, he makes clutch plays when it matters.  I don't fault him for that pass in the Super Bowl as it should've never been called in the first place.

List is so flawed. Can't put Newton ahead of Romo, Big Ben, or Rivers.  AND you damn sure can't have Foles at #11. He has done nothing in the NFL. Foles isn't even in the Top 20 (hence that's why he was traded away for virtually nothing). And having Foles ahead of a guy who won multiple super bowls (Eli ) is downright laughable on every level.

And RGIII ahead of Carson Palmer...give me a break! Dalton ahead of Rivers...please. Rivers has won playoff games, Dalton has been beyond awful and LOST every playoff game he has ever played in. Matt Ryan ahead of Joe Flacco...based on what? Flacco has shined during the playoffs and Ryan has shrunk in playoff games and been bad.

I want to give a shout out to Brian for manning up and putting together a list off the cuff.  It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good considering it's just based on his immediate gut.

Personally, I think Foles should be somewhere in the 20's, and Romo should be ranked higher.  Other than that, it's pretty spot on.

Aside from a few head-scratchers (Foles ahead of Romo, Tanny, Rivers, etc...? Big Ben outside of top-10?), the list isn't that bad. It will obviously require a major edit once Brian sees the new Kaepernick this season<g>, but doing a full QB ranking without researching the stats is a fuzzy bitch anyway.
