I think Henne will be great so I'm not nearly as sour about it as I was last year..........But Quinn will turn out to be a great Franchise QB. Cameron knows it as well and will never be a head coach again becuase of it. I'm ready to let it go.

from what I saw, he was "meh"

not terrible but not good.

Put him against a good (or even decent) defense and I bet he crumbles

Apples to Oranges.

Beck with a 0-10 team full of 3rd and 4th stringers against the Buffalo defense in Buffalo, or Quinn with a full team of starters, including Jamal Lewis, Braylon Edwards, and Kellen Winslow against one of the league's worst defenses missing their best CB.

Can't compare.

Brady Quinn (starting his 1st NFL game) producing very good numbers against a shitty Denver D, is kind of like Ted Ginn (playing in his 23rd game) putting up good numbers of 7 catches for 175 yards against a cornerback playing on one leg. Wink

I think the key phrase in your post is "from what I saw"  ....everyone that I heard talk about the game was very impressed with Quinn and his ability as an NFL QB... I watched the WHOLE game and thought Quinn looked GREAT.

Quinn looked good (not great IMO, not all of his passes were right on).  However, it was one game.  He may do just as well against a better defense, he may not.  I am not ready to crown him the next great thing after only one game, though.

For example, look at the game Cutler had.  If you only saw stats from that game, you would think he was a world beater.

Brady Quinn looked great out there, not good... He showed great poise in the pocket, especially moving around in the pocket to avoid the rush. He showed good control on his short pass, even when throwing off balance. For a kid making his first NFL start, I thought he showed as well as any first-time starter that I've seen in a damned long time.

not terrible but not good.

So much Brady Quinn hate in you...it's scary.

I would say the same about Ted Ginn Jr with certain members on this board.

Sorry...........he had a great game against the Bills, but he was pretty much absent his entire rookie season and most of this one.  But the correct comparison is.......How has Beck done?  Roll Eyes Quinn will have a great career and Cameron will never be in charge of shit again becuase of it.  Its over , lets move on.

(I was really looking forward to hearing the Mighty Quinn played over the speakers at Dolphin stadium though.......... Undecided)

I'll say this almost any QB can look good when you're not getting hit constantly....Yeah he moved around in the pocket to avoid some pressure, but for the most of the game that I saw,He wasn't under a constant rush....

Comparing Beck to Quinn is idiotic,One was playing behind a swiss cheese line, with no weapons...The other got the luxury of learning for almost a year and a half before getting his feet wet starting with Some weapons around him,and Hank fraley, and Joe Thomas in front of him......(even thought they seem to be letting their QB down this year)

I'll Give Quinn a C...Nice first game of his career, improve upon this game....He didn't wow me,but he didn't make me scratch my head either...

When does it end?  Because, I've just about had it with some of you.  For Christsakes this whole Quinn/Ginn/Cameron thing has just gotten beyond ridiculous.  Miami Dolphins drafted Ted Ginn Jr. with the 9th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.  Get over it.  Cam Cameron and Randy Mueller are both gone.  Get over it. The Dolphins decided to pass on Brady Quinn, and Brady Quinn is now a Cleveland Brown.  GET OVER IT!!!  When does this silliness end?  Look, there are a lot of things that Miami should've different over the course of history with this franchise, but what's done is done.  You can't change it.

I swear some of you hate Ted Ginn so much, you root for his failure and continually diminish his skills as a WR and trash him personally.  GROW UP GODDAMNIT!!!  Brady Quinn had a good game in his first start as a Cleveland Brown, leave it at that.  Don't be an idiot and sit there like a dumbass and say: "Blah Blah Blah, I hate Cameron, Ted Ginn sucks as a person and as a WR, he's just a KR, blah blah blah, Quinn is going to Canton and we passed on him."  Just stop it, enough is enough.  Damon Huard should've started over Fiedler, We should've drafted Anquan Boldin over Eddie Moore, We should've taken Brees over Culpepper, etc.  Why don't some of you complain about those things as well, while you're at it?

Quit complaining about circumstances that happened over a year ago.  In case you have forgotten, the Dolphins are 4-4, and have a pretty stable quarterback situation for ths first time in years.  I'm looking forward, and I'm tired of people crying about what could've been.  You want to stay in the past, stay in the past.  I'm moving forward with these new 2008 Dolphins, and looking forward to a very bright future.  Feel free to join the rest us, crybabies.

You, sir, deserve this:

How many years have to go by beofre people keep bitching about one draft pick.  You act like Miami hasn't ever blown draft picks before.

Whoa toughguy....in case you do not realize it, this is around the NFL...Brady Quinn is part of the NFL... whether you like it or not Quinn/Ginn WILL be linked together their entire careers so get used to it and stop your whining and crying about other peoples opinions.
