Giving my Game Ball to secondary coach Todd Bowles.  Torched by New England last week, this unit held Marc Bulger to under 150 yards passing and came up with three picks, including one that iced the game.

Marc Bulger was coming off a game which he had a concussion. I don't know if it was more then defense stopping him, or bulger stopping himself.

Either Davone Bess, for playing well in his first start, or Polite for several key first down conversions.

I choose whoever it was that made that final INT.  That play could've been the loss, and our guy made the play.

Honorable mention to echo the sentiments about Polite.  He had several important runs today.

nobody on the phins deserves a game ball,  this is a 2-8 team and we hardly beat them.  our recievers can't catch a ball when thrown to, or when the do catch it they fumble it (ginn).   our running game is horrible and our defense couldn't stop them.  A  2-8 team and we win by only 4 points.  we can't even score 20 against this d.   nobody could stop S.Jackson.

this team is playing worse each week as the season goes on.

My Game Ball goes to CB Andre Goodman.  He made the game clinching INT, and the Dolphins now have 7 wins on the season.

Honorable Mention goes to K Dan Carpenter.  3/3 on FG's, 1/1 on XP's.

I'm giving my game ball to the Rams coaching staff for punting on 4th and 1 with less than 4 minutes left in the 4th and down by 4 (that's a whole lot of 4s).

my game ball goes to the entire staff.  from upper brass to the players and coaches, for the tremendous job they did so far with this team.  from a 1-15 disaster, weve risen from the ashes, and become competitive again in one felt swoop. i'm proud as hell of this team , just by the shear heart they are showing this season. i think some of you are expecting too much too soon.  considering last season, what weve done so fa this year  is amazing. imagine whats to come......

A good point....I'm thinking they finish the year 9 and 7, and don't make the playoffs. Still, considering that last year the dolphins were the worst team in football and had the worst top to bottom roster in football, 9 and 7 would be a fantastic achievement.  I thought they'd go about 4 and 12 this year. It's funny that after last year's debacle, people could actually be unhappy that the dolphins just get nosed out of the playoffs.

Now, another year or two or Parcells/Ireland scheming in the front office, bringing in a few wide receivers and defensive backs from the draft and free agency....I feel guardedly optimistic about the future.

Last years team wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be, and this years team isn't as good as people think.

Last year's team was atrocious, and was fortunate to avoid being zero and sixteen. This year's team (the point of my earlier post) is not championship material and not really a playoff team. Rather, they are competitive and in the middle of the pack, and have found a way to win some ugly games, which is a huge advance over last year. They are also on the upswing with good coaching and good front office people, which hopefully bodes well for the near term future.

But last year's team really sucked, and if not for the good work of the troika the dolphins could easily be batttling the Lions for next year's number one pick.

Yea ok champ.  The first half of the year they were competitive in every game, managing to lose all the close games because of idiot coaching.

Wins are WINS,  baby!    Think PROGRESS.   Wins are coming, this year, to teams who show up with ambitious attitudes.  Nobody's cake-walkin'.  That fact, alone, makes me proud of our team.  We're definitely on the move.  Those who aren't playin' ain't gonna be stayin'.   You know THAT much about Bill Parcells.   Love or hate him, you have to appreciate his motivational influence.   ROCK!

Next year, I'll be concerned about winning by 30-point margins.  This year?  Savor the wins.   Cool
