He's on the market.  He's had declining numbers, but he's also had declining QBs.  He was well-behaved last year, from all reports.  Is it worth looking at Owens?

Yes, if he doesn't ask for a boatload of cash.  Maybe we can convince him to sign for a minimum contract with big incentives. Roll Eyes

I wouldn't hate it, but honestly having Marshall and Owens on the same team screams "self-destruction"

I was hoping someone would go there for old time's sake.

It's not in keeping with the rebuilding project to bring in Owens, a "progress-stopper" to the young guys.  I'd pass.

I'll go as far as saying that there aren't many players in the NFL that I'd rather have "less" than T.O.

I'd take a package of Pacman "Let 'em eat cake" Jones and Jamarcus "Potatohead" Russell first.

I actually think that if you look at T.O., you avoid the incentive route.  I don't want his paycheck tied to how often he sees the ball, or else I'd expect him to bitch about not getting throws.  I think you pay him a salary and take a gamble, good or bad, if you want to give him a try.

You can't be serious.  While TO has some issues, so do most wideouts.  On the whole TO has a much worse rap than he really is.  I think this Bang gem says it best....

I wasn't serious...it's called exaggeration for emphasis. I don't want Jamarcus or Pacman...OR T.O., but your "on the whole" assessment of T.O. seems like a blatant case of "talking out of your ass." Unless, of course, you'd have us believe that you maintain a personal relationship with T.O. that would grant you some insight into his character beyond what you've gleaned from Sportscenter highlights.

Hell to the no.   I had to listen to his big mouth enough when he was in Dallas.

Ok, let me get this straight, Buffalo doesn't want him?  Nuff said.

I found it funny that TO is just NOW realizing that he has a bad reputation. LOL
