I don't consider any of them to be the most compelling rivalry in the respective divisions.
In the AFCE #1 - Pats - Jets; #2 Jets-Dolphins; #3 Pats - Dolphins.
I think your perspective is skewed. How big of a rivalry was Pats-Jets in the 80s? Would this list have held up in the early 90s?
You can tell when a team is
truly your rival by how you feel about them when they suck. The Patriots have only been the Dolphins' rival since Bradichick, and they took the place of the Jim Kelly Bills (who no one in the AFCE cares about now). When the Bills suck (i.e. now) we don't care about them, and when the Patriots return to their rightful place in the gutter, we won't care about them then. So they aren't really rivals.
In the NFCE I would rank Giants Cowboys ahead of Boys and Skins.
The Giants' rival is the Cowboys.
The Eagles' rival is the Cowboys.
The Redskins' rival is the Cowboys.
The Cowboys' rival is the Redskins. (according to literally every Cowboy fan I've asked)
DAL-WSH is the best rivalry in that division because it's mutual.
