Why is his perfomance getting shit on by everyone?  He had a 7.73 any/a.

He lead 6 drives for Miami on the day and lead them to 1 td.

Drive 1 (miami 33) - 4 plays, 12 yards punt
drive 2 (Miami 13) - 6 plays 46 yards Ricky williams fumble on 1st down on ne 41.
drive 3 (miami 25) - 3 plays 8 yards punt
drive 4 (miami 19) 5 plays 34 yards turnover on downs
drive 5 (miami 9) 6 plays 37 yards, punt
drive 6 (miami 20) 5 plays 80 yards td.

Are you stating this was a steller performance?

I am stating that people who think henne and thigpen played similarly yesterday are crazy.

He had 1 good drive that was aided by a long pass interference penalty in garbage time of a garbage game.  This proves exactly what?

His perfomance yesterday was better than all but 3 of henne's career starts.

Neither one of them is starter quality.

Based on what, your magical any/a stat?  Unfortunately your any/a stat is meaningless when it comes to wins and losses.  Henne was 7-7 in games this year where he took the majority of the snaps and is 14-14 lifetime.  Thigpen was 0-2 this year and has I believe 1 career win to his credit when he has taken the majority of snaps in a game.  Yeah, most of those starts were for KC when they weren't very good, but it's not like Miami has been some powerhouse while Henne has been playing.  Thigpen has been given plenty of opportunities to produce and hasn't fared any better than Henne.  Most anyone who pays no attention to any/a and judges more based on his production on the field can see that.  Ultimately you are judged on wins and losses and how you play coming off the bench in 38-7 blowouts are meaningless to most people.

But it doesn't surprise me that you are trying to make it into something as your agenda has been very clear all year long.  That doesn't make you right, just consistent.

any/a is production on the field. Miami was coming off a 11-5 season and henne brought them down to an under .500 level.

A first place schedule, poor play and poor coaching brought them down.  No one did it single handedly.

we had a bullshit schedule and the Jets had Favre and the Pats didn't have Brady..we overachieved that season and it's showing now..you can't blame back to back 7 - 9 seasons on one player..so PLEASE GET OVER IT

Stop. By the time Thigpen got in the game New England had the game won and was playing their 2nd team.
