^^^^ Pete Prisco of CBS SPortsline just tweeted that nobody in the mainstream media will admit it, but since 2004 the Pats have choked in almost every big game they have been in.

Now they did win 2  playoff games  in 2007 and were unbeaten till the super bowl, so Pete might be a little rough there. But today might be the final nail in the coffin of the Pats Dynasty. And the Jets era has just begun with a 2nd year QB and 2nd year coach going to back to back conference championship games from the 6th seed spot. I hate the Jets but that is impressive. Give the devil its due!

Jim Nantz isn't even trying to hide his disgust that the Pats lost.

Bush League by Nantz today. Poor job by him

Jim Nantz is a tool of CBS. He doesn't want to step on Brady or Belichick's toes.

Rex Ryan is a breath of fresh air. He goes back to when coaches and managers were characters along with the players before all this political correctness stuff grabbed a hold of everything.

I admire what the Jets are doing. Unlike the Dolphins, they have talent at the skill positions. If they protect the ball and shut down Mike Wallace (Hines Ward is not going to beat you deep) they have a chance to beat Pittsburgh.

As for the Patriots, to me, this was his best coaching season with all of the young players. The draft picks and positions that they have next year is just scary. I think NE is going to surprise some people and take a QB. Brady is getting old.

Just as bad as them saying that every poorly thrown ball by Brady was "he must have been throwing it away" Roll Eyes

Cause Brady never throws a bad ball.

Lame.

I have to say as much as I like Welker he comes off as an ass. If you are going to try to one up the trash talking, especially when you dont normally do it, you've got to at least win the game! Seems the Jets win just by bringing him into their mental games.

Rex outcoached Belichick today and it wasn't even close.

Jets are a better team. They deserved to win.

This might have been the Pats last "real" run at a ring. Brady isn't getting any younger and ya can't bank on getting home field advantage again. End of one era today and the start of another I think inside the AFC East.

Everyone says this every year since they won their last superbowl. The pats are on the demise and will amount to nothing. Yeah, they lost in the playoffs, but they had the best record in the league this year and are always a threat, especially with all of the draft picks they have coming up. I wouldn't call it the changing of the guards just yet.

A breathe of fresh air? He is an asshole just like his father. He has won nothing and talks like he is the next Lombardi.
I have yet to see any film of the great coaches i.e. Lombardi, Shula, Landry, etc. talking a yard of shit before games, or even after they actually won the SB and had a reason to brag. This was before the days of "PC" too.
You can be a character, and have some too without being a giant windbag with nothing to back up your bravado.

Jets are also an older team than the Patriots. They were built to make a SB last year and this. What is their future in a couple years when the Patriots have reloaded with picks and trades?

^^^^^

My sentiments exactly.....he is nothing more than a giant Douche who as of now has nothing to show for it. The entire organization has looked foolish all season for all the extra bullshit surrounding the team and it all starts from the top.

Jeez you people are coming down pretty hard on the guy that backed up all that smack talk this weekend.  I hate his loud mouth and off the field antics as much as anyone, but something that is being overlooked is that the guy can coach.  Who else has shutdown Brady this year?  The Jets beat the Patriots twice this year.  They only lost 1 other game all year and that was a fluke.  Give the guy a little credit.

And what has he won?  Well he's won 4 playoff games, that's what he's won.  What has Sparano won?  If I had to choose which guy I'd rather have right now, I think I'd have to go with Ryan and just want to put my fist in his mouth about every week.

Well hopefully we will see Pittsburgh decimate the J - E - T - S, jets, jets, jets next week so that we can see old fat ass Rex start crying like a school girl starting puberty and having her first period. That's my wish !!!

Actually, as a Miami fan it's gonna be pathetic if the Jets and the Packers go to the SB. As those are 2 teams that we beat this year !!!

Jets are old? News to them!  Not in key areas. Sanchez, Keller, Green, Revis, Mangold, Harris..etc. The Jets core is young! They are built for the future.

The Jets added key vets around them.  On the other hand the Pats core is OLD. And they don't have enough around there OLD core to take it to the next level.
