Rumor has it he wants to be a Dolphin.  I say no thanks.  He'll be 34 if/when the season starts and I don't see him as a team leader.

Nope! We need a speed WR. We have enough big physical WR's with average speed (ie Marshall, Moore, Wallace)

Doesn't fit the Fins need at WR. We need some blazing speed!

Because the Dolphins are in the NFL right now, and Plaxico isn't?

^^ so are 31 other teams, about 20 of whom are closer to the Lombardi trophy than the Dolphins.

I'd take him if the price was right.  He's experienced and has played in some big games.  Still has a few years left in him.

I'm sorry...I thought we were talking about Plaxico here. Dude wants a paycheck right now...regardless of "SB potential."

He'd be happy with most of the other 31 teams as well, I'd imagine.

^^ that's my point.  The OP said "he wants to come to Miami.

Why Miami, as opposed to cleveland, arizona, pittsburgh, washington, seattle, or new england?

I'm surprised at your reaction Brian. You've been a Dolphins fan long enough to have heard many other ridiculous claims of players wanting to be in Miami.

An 8th grader could type something and put it up on the BLEACHER REPORT. Hardly real journalism

If this is true, and he WANTS to play for Miami, I'd love to give him try-out.  I'm not all for seeking out these old guys, but if they see something in our team or environment and they want to be a part of it, I'm inclined to give them a shot.  It makes me think that you'll lose some of the diva attitude, since you weren't courted.
