If NE wins, they clinch the division.

I think its safe to say that NE has already won the division.  NE is just playing for seeding spot now.

^^^^ Pretty much.  But they haven't offically won it yet.  If they win this weekend they get the t-shirts and hats.

They don't have much of a shot at the #1 or #2 seed.  And the difference between being a 3 vs a 4 is minor.  They will be hosting Colts, Steelers or Bengals wildcard weekend.

Dolphins have 2 things working for them.

1) Gronkowski is out.
2) Brady is not a mobile QB.

Unfortunately I don't think either will be that much of a problem for NE, but it might be close for a while.

^^^^  No, it's not looking good for the Steelers.

I think we can plan on WC weekend being either:

Cin @ NE
Indy @ Denver

or

Indy @ NE
Cin @ Denver

Let the rivalry hate begin....

Two made kicks, and this game actually means something.

Cincy and Pittsburgh are both in about the same boat. They both have the same record and they both play Baltimore, San Diego and Dallas and they play each other. Cincy also plays Philadelphia and Pittsburgh plays Cleveland, neither of which are very good. My guess is that whichever team wins the head to head matchup will go to the playoffs and the other will be out. There's still a small chance that they both lose 3 games and both finish at 8-8 and leave the door open for someone else to catch them, possibly even someone from the AFC East. I did NOT say Miami!!!

Flying in from Montreal!

Thank God they won yesterday, at least the gloom and doom is gone for the time being.

Hoping we don't get blown out and the game is competitive.  Will be there cheering no matter what!

Predicting:

New England  34
Miami              27

Good close game, but we come up short once again.  Hope I'm wrong!

I think the game will be close. I don't see NE running with much success against Miami. Pats WR's might have a decent game this week if they go after Staford/Carroll which I expect they will all game long. Brady is good enough to abuse poor corners.

I could see it being a FG/TD game either way. If NE brings their" A" game on offense though (even without Gronk) they could easily put up a bunch of points and win in a blowout. If it were in NE I think the Pats would win easily, since its in Miami I think it will be tight for the most part. Pats probably win but by no more than 10 and if the Fins won I wouldn't be shocked.

The game could be close at the start, maybe even to the half. But come the 2nd half, NE will absolutely light up our secondary and just run away with it. I only say it'll be close by the half just because the Dolphins always seem to give the Pats some trouble for a while. When the Pats get up by two touchdowns, the game will be over. We don't have an explosive team that can put up quick scores (or many scores).

If Andrew Luck set records against our secondary, put Brady down for 600 yards.
