Nice brawl in last night's game...sorry about Greinke's shoulder. He shouldn't have thrown at our old man outfielder. Wink

It seems like Carlos Quentin was trying to hit Zack Greinke.  And why not?  Everyone else in the league has.

^^^ I'm guessing Russell will get most of the opps while Fuji is out...

For your Cubs...and all 4 of my fantasy squads, I hope Samardzija pitches a serious gem today and beats the hell out of the Giants.

Greinke going for the family jewels was quite comical....him thinking he was a middle linebacker taking on a much larger Quinton.....not so much!!!!

Quentin got an 8-game suspension. Can I pick another player to miss 8 games and have him tackle Kershaw the next time out?

Totally kidding... Grin

Maybe...  Evil

Well they play tonight at the Ravine. I am sure the teams will get over it however I would not want to be a Padres fan tonight at the old ball park.  Wink

^^^ I'll be watching it from the comfort of home, where my commentary about Lasorda's fat ass and Sandy Koufax' fondness for the clubhouse boy can be done safely. Grin

Braves still undefeated when scoring at least one run. How weird is that?

Padres knock out Clayton Kershaw and the Padres SWEEP the Evil Blue.

It's the little things in life...

We're still destined for a bottom-3 overall finish, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy kicking the Dodgers' asses whenever possible. Grin

Gotta give it to the Padres......they kicked LA's ass all over the field. I hope this trend changes or I'm looking at yet another season that will be over at the All Star break with the 2nd highest payroll in the league.
