Kendall Lamm is the latest player to talk out about Miami's culture last year.

https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/yet-another-former-dolphins-calls-out-team-s-culture-01jyc1n9j05w

"I understand why the Eagles reached two Super Bowls in three years: players are never late, never toxic, and after every practice, the room spends 15 minutes sharing personal struggles to stay mentally sharp - something I never got with the Dolphins," Lamm said in an interview with ESPN.

Gee, I wonder who he could possibly be referring to?

Astonishingly, Hill said he's going to convince Ramsey to stay with the team. I guess he want's his old buddy back so he doesn't get singled out for this kind of behavior?

I'm pretty sure that this would be heavily criticized by the Dolphins fanbase as "evidence of softness" if McDaniel had something similar in Miami.

If you're winning, everything you're doing is inspired genius.
If you're losing, everything you're doing is pathetic idiocy.

As opposed to evidence of a bunch of greedy, undisciplined Fuck-knuckles with no heart and no pride?

Kind of like wealth being the difference between being eccentric vs nuts for doing the same thing. hahaha

It's also possible that Hill has realized that he's made some mistakes along the way and might need to work on his attitude. He's had a tough year, sometimes things need to get tough for people to realize what they have and make some changes. I actually kind of like Hill, he's just had everything easy up to this point, sometimes people need a little adversity to see the error of their ways. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I'm always optimistic around this time of year.

In your view, what would "sharing personal struggles to stay mentally sharp" look like?  What kind of things do you think they talk about in those 15 minutes?

I'll admit the phrasing is ambiguous, but as I see it, it means one of two things:

1) the players share their personal struggles, which helps them clear their mind and therefore stay mentally sharp
2) the players share the difficulties they have experienced in keeping their mind focused

A report out of Miami disclosing either of these things about McDaniel's practices would... not be received well.
But since the Super Bowl champs did it, it must be super smart!

It's kind of like thinking that since Chiefs players rated their locker room, training staff, nutritionist, and ownership all as Fs, the key to success in this league is to give the players a shitty locker room, terrible training staff, no nutritional guidance, and an owner they hate, which toughens them up for gameday.

Turns out this quote was fake anyway.

ETA: Apparently this fake quote has been reused in other contexts:

Yeah, I see SI who I originally quoted and tagged has now taken that story down.

I swear it seems like half the articles posted on social media are fake. Could be even more.

It's been another hell of a week for Tyreek.

https://www.tmz.com/2025/09/08/tyreek-hill-ex-domestic-violence-allegations/

Vaccaro claims Hill got mad at her while the two were at an Orlando, Fla. hotel. Hill, she wrote in the documents, "violently attacked her, throwing her to the floor, twisting her intimate body parts, ripping her hair out and grabbing anything on her person he could get a hold of."

Hill and his legal team have of course denied this, and accused his ex of attempting to shake him down. If any of this sticks though... it's the end of Tyreek's NFL career.

Trade him now before things get out of hand.

UPDATED TO ADD

Just got a news report that the Dolphins are saying they will not be trading him and teams have shown little interest in him.
