That has nothing to do with it.   Nobody put a gun to these parents heads and forced them to have sex in order to make babies.   Scared of an unplanned pregnancy?   Find other ways to get yourself off without penetration.

There are multiple states that do not allow rape victims to have an abortion.

Then give the baby to someone who wants one but can't conceive.   There are a lot of couples out there that would make great parents but for some reason or another can't have children.   And while you're at it, stop charging five figures to adopt a child.

^^^ So, not only do they have to suffer the trauma of the rape, but even if they don't believe in your fictitious God, they still have to carry the rapists child to term?

So, basically, you're saying "fuck the victims...in the name of God."

Amen

Who said life was easy?   For some, it's very very hard.   Some people are victims, but other people do it to themselves.

Nobody said life is easy.  But if your goal in life is to make it harder for others particularly victims of sexual assault then you are an asshole.

What about the baby?   That baby didn't ask to be made by a rapist and certainly didn't do anything to deserve being killed either.

This a lot of crappy political gamesmanship.  First Trump and the Republicans want a clean (no law changes) continuing Resolution to keep paying current bills only until Nov 21st.  Whether you're a Democrat or Republican in power I believe this is the way these should be handled.  The Democrats in this case want to force the Republicans to change laws in this Bill, I'm against doing things this way.  Now both Democrats and Republicans are using the loss of SNAP benefits to force the other side to capitulate.  The USDA has billions set aside in an emergency fund to cover government shutdowns like this, and Trump is not letting them do that, which is BS of the highest order.  And the poor children suffer.

I might believe that you actually cared about the baby, rather than just being sadistic towards the mom if you supported universal prenatal care, public housing so the baby wasn't homeless, WIC and SNAP so the baby wouldn't starve and universal pediatric care so the child would have health care.

THIS is exactly why republicans constantly try to undercut education.  Holding such an opinion when the Republicans control both branches of congress and the executive branch and could pass any budget they want without any democrats is only possible if you didn't learn the basic civics that my school taught in 6th grade.

The unborn baby's rights don't outweigh the victim of sexual assault's rights.

There's a thing in the Senate called the "filibuster" which allows the minority party to put off voting on laws.  Currently the filibuster rule requires 60 votes to end the filibuster and bring the item to a vote, the Republicans don't have 60 votes.  Now the Senate Republicans could eliminate this filibuster rule and make it a simple majority, as Trump wants them to do, is that what you want to happen?  This is probably above 6th grade civics, or it may have changed since you were in 6th grade.

Republicans have already ignored the filibuster multiple times this session.  They are observing it right now because they want to; they are hoping Democrats fold and give them the political cover they need for the draconian cuts to come.

It isn't a baby until it develops.

So in your mind the house passed a budget and for the past six weeks the democrats have been filibustering the senate for six weeks to prevent passage?

Because reality is the Republicans have shut down the house and senate.
