Fins have a bye week then play the Jets.  Jets might represent one of the better chances for the Dolphins too get a win.  A win here won't help with draft position but even if you have given up on the season and only care about next year's draft, nobody remembers a team that goes 1-16.  Nobody will forget a the first team to go 0-17.

More and more convinced the Dolphins won't go 0-17. They aren't good, but they're not as bad as 0-17 would seem to suggest. I mean it's always possible they could get really unlucky and be 0-17, but the odds are that they are going to run into a team that is playing worse then Miami at some point. It's not just about the quality of the opposition it's also about some breaks going your way and Miami just really haven't had any breaks except for the bad kind. Yes you have to make your own breaks and quit shooting yourself in the foot at other times, but somebody is gonna lose to the Dolphins this year, I feel pretty confident about that. More than 1 win on the other hand, might not happen. Losing Achane and Caleb Douglas have really hurt the offense and the defense is still trying to find itself with so many new faces.

If the team goes 0-17, heads need to roll.
1-15 got Cam Cameron, Jason Taylor, and Zach Thomas all run out of Miami.

I know Ross wanted Flores to lose games for Tua/Burrow, but 1) there is no equivalent QB on the deck and 2) there's a big difference between "Don't try too hard to win" and "I want you to make me the first 0-17 owner in league history."

I see them as a 3-4 win team.   But Jets is one or two of those wins.

If you beat the Jets, you will climb out of the cellar of the AFCE and be in third place.

Not true as the Jets have 2 wins.
