a dolphins fan from a different site (baseball one) has told me about a rumor of a trade

the trade is with N.O
And it 's We trade our first round pick, 3rd round pick, Marty Booker for N.O's 1st round pick.

Is there any truth to this or is this just a rumor.

Why would New Orleans need Booker? They have Horn and Stallworth.

I agree with Philly here. No need for Booker and with their first round pick they will be taking a QB which they badly need. I don't see them trading this pick with anyone!!!!

The Saints are already putting Matt Leinart's name tag over a locker...done deal.

I could see them wanting to trade down, but only because they don't want to pay the type of money associated with the #2 pick. But if they trade down, it'll probably be for multiple first round picks, so they can maximize what they get for their pick.

I haven't heard that rumor, but I'll keep an ear open to the south florida media and let you know if I hear something...

3 months from the draft, I think I can safely say this rumor is false.  No team with the #2 overall pick is trading until it has 15 seconds left on the clock.
