I am a Republican sometimes and a Liberterian the other times. I voted for Bush. I didn't agree with everything he said, but seeing as how the Muslims are out of their heads and want to kill us just for not being Muslim(per Bin Laden's 9/11 letter), I couldn't possibly vote for Kerry. The guy thinks the UN is relevant and would consult with the French before WE used military action. These are my beliefs in a nutshell:

-Bush spends like a trophy wife.
-I am not Christian.
-I think gay people should marry as long as they aren't Rosie O'Donnell.
-I think Global Warming is hyped up bullshit with little scientific backing.
-While Iraq wasn't on my list of "Most Dangerous Muslim Places", it was a start and I do believe we have been succesful there.
-I feel sad whenever someone quotes a Michael Moore line as "fact".
-I think Bush was an ass for coming up with social security reform and then dissapearing into a cave for 4 months while it got torn apart.
-I think the media is insanely biased to the left.
-I think anyone who uses the word "militant" over "terrorist" is a douchebag.
-I love John Bolton.
-I think abortion should be illegal, but don't hate people who have them because I don't believe that THEY believe what they are doing is murder.
-I am against the death penalty because of justice system mistakes, but I don't cry when pieces of shit like Tookie Williams dies.
-I think this country's citizens are too easily swayed by what they see on TV.
-I think Dan Rather is a disgrace for making up phony documents in attempt to take down a sitting President.
-I have nothing but respect and love for the people in our armed forces.
-I love America.

I agree with everything you said except for three things. I am for the death penalty, against gay marriage, and I am a Christian.

Then you should be against doctors and hospitals because their mistakes kill thousands of otherwise healthy people a year.

Thousands of people who aren't deathly ill are accidentally killed at hospitals every year.  They get the wrong medicine, wrong dose, ec, etc, etc. 

How many first time offenders get the death penalty?  It's pretty close to zero.

I don't disagree with either of those statements, but how they're related, I'm really struggling to make a link.

There is a difference between negligence, recklessness, and intentional...  since a doctor would be under category 1 or 2 at the most, there is NO death penalty and, hence, the statements are unrelated (which is why Dave cannot make the link--- there is no link).

There have been a lot of people on death row who were later acquitted of their crime. That's the only reason why I am against the death penalty. If a guy is 100% guilty and confesses to a heinous crime, I have no problem with killing him. I don't think it will solve anything, just make him suffer for what he did. That's good enough for me.

What is your definition of a terrorist? I don't consider someone a terrorist who engages legitimate military targets a terrorist, as opposed to someone who targets soft targets. Unfortunately people here( i.e. this country) don't make a distinction, especially Fox News.

What's your point?  The very idea of medical treatment and the death penalty are opposites.

If you are wrongly imprisoned, they can let you go.  ...but once you're dead...that's pretty much it.  That's his point.  The comparison you're making is absolutely asinine.

Someone who hits soft targets( i.e. civilians) as opposed to hard targets( i.e. military). I thought I made it clear, guess it wasn't.
