title pretty much says it all. i remembered dave or someone posted a if you weren't a dolphins fan, what team would you root for post. so i wanted to ask people if you weren't a fan of the baseball team you root for, what team would you root for.

I would probably have been a Cardinals fan if blue jays moved or weren't there. Just  just because i think Albert Pul. is the best player in baseball. i put pul. because i can't spell his name off the top of my head. and they are a very well rounded group, even though they are turning out to be the MLB's version of the Philadephia Eagles

I would root for whoever played the Red Sox.

Well, I'm a Cards fan from back in the day, but a Marlins fan because they're my home team.  Supposing neither existed, I'd root for the Blue Jays because I really liked that team back in the early 90s.  They had some great players who were also good people on that team, like Joe Carter, Dave Winfield...

Well since this may soon be a reality,  I will revert to being a Mets fan.  Smiley

I like the Marlins and Red Sox, when I'm watching at all.  I suppose I could like the Mariners.  I liked the team they had back in the day with Griffey.

I've never been the type to like a team, because of just one player.(Even Marino had the Marks brothers,so there was more than oneplayer that made me go wow). Growing up,it varied who we portrayed, kind of who was hot at the time. D.Gooden,B.Saberhagan, were hot in the mid 80's,in the late 80's there were the bash brothers of the A's,and so on and so on.

I'm an anti Cardinals fan...one of the few teams I hate with a fervor...

How bad would be to be a Seattle Mariners Fan,to have had Griffey,A.Rod,and the Big Unit all on the same team?

Ok enough babbling...Probably my second favorite team, would be the Marlins.

Since I am a two team guy in baseball (Padres-Marlins)...if both teams were gone, I would probably cheer for the Red Sox, just to be on the other side of as many brawls with Yankees fans as humanly possible. If not the Sox, then probably the Orioles...just because of the healthy man-love I hold for Miguel Tejada.

Houston or anyone who played against Barry Bonds.

I wouldn't say "Anyone who plays the Red Sox" because without the Yankees they wouldn't mean anything to me.

If the Yankees didn't exist........ I'd probably be a Mets or Dodgers fan.  A lot of Brooklynites still love the Dodgers.

My favorite team is the Florida Marlins.  If they do indeed move to anywhere else, I'll start cheering for my "B" team the San Diego Padres.
