I hate to do this, but I think I'll go with Jake Long.  He was very disappointing this season.

So many people deserving of it.  I'll have to think on this one.

Charles Clay. I expected this to be a breakout year for him. Major disappointment.

Egnew. Waste of a 3rd round pick and at a position they needed help with. The former All American finished the year with no stats. What a waste. -EK

Good choices for both of you.  I'm giving mine to John Jerry.  This overweight, out-of-shape slob was a turnstile all season.  It got to the point where the 72 Dolphins called him out for not putting in the effort required of a pro athlete.  To think the Dolphins drafted this walrus over Aaron Hernandez.

Carpenter.  Sorry, I can't get those missed kicks out of my head.

I also go with Carpenter.  While his overall kicking percentage was not bad, he directly missed 2 game winners.

1. Carpenter

2. Pass defence at crucial moments in big games...Sean Smiths dropped INT against the Colts comes to mind.

3. Too many missed chances inside the RED ZONE...despite the rookie QB, was hoping this offence was going to score alot more.

1) Daniel Thomas

2) Brian Hartline - only ONE TD all season, which was a flukie 80 yarder.  If his name was Brandon Marshall there would be tons of people on this board hammering him.

This is true, but I think there's a good reason for it.   You can't compare him to Marshall, who is a legitimate number 1 and paid as a top WR.  I'm too lazy to look up, but I don't think Hartline is in the same league, salary wise.  Personally, it's hard for me to blame Hartline.  He's is 3rd down possession receiver put in as the number 1 guy.  His lack of production as a number 1 is a direct result of his ability and skills.

Regardless of his name, if Hartline were making $16million a year, and scored 1 TD, people would still be hammering him.  He's a $3million receiver, and plays as such.  For that, you get a solid #2 with great hands and 1000+ yards.

Besides, Tannehill only threw 12 TD's, 5 of which went to Fasano.

I was going to say Daniel Thomas as well, but I think he's more of a disappointment vs. a shame.  He didn't play enough of a role to be a "shame".  So far, he has to be considered a bust.

I could go with Carpenter, who could have helped us to 2 more wins; but I think I'll take Jake Long.  He's paid a ton of money and he looked bad for much of the year.
