THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

My prediction:

The Bucs will win the Super Bowl unless there is a horribly bad call that goes against them in a playoff game.

Which are the only teams left now that have a longer playoff win drought than Miami?

The Browns in 1994 I think are the only team left.

Not anymore.  That upset in Pittsburgh was stunning.  And I won $117 on my three team parlay on Sunday picking Baltimore, New Orleans and Cleveland.

Was it?  Pitt sucks and Cleveland just beat them the week before.  And this is a year where homefield advantage doesn't mean what it normally does.

Maybe a slight upset....but not stunning IMO.

I was thinking the same thing.  The Steelers were a train wreck for the last few games of the regular season.

We could see Brady take on Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes in succession.

However, one of my resolutions for New Year's which I made after Miami was eliminated was not to watch a single snap of the playoffs, so I won't be watching.

Patrick Mahomes sustained a concussion and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against Cleveland.  The current QB in for KC is none other than Chad Henne who is actually holding his own in his first ever playoff appearance.  Makes you wonder what he could've done had he been properly coached and given the right weapons here.

And perhaps I spoke too soon.  Henne moving his team down the field gets set back by an illegal crackback block on one of the receivers, putting them out of field goal range.  Very next play, he takes a huge risk and heaves a bomb into the end zone.  Cleveland DB Carl Joseph stands there like a baseball outfielder and picks it off.

Buffalo will have a BYE into the Superbowl if Mahomes isn't good to go next Sunday.

It was good to see Henne atone for his pick in the end zone by scrambling for 13 yards on 3rd and 14, then making a clutch short pass to ice the game.  That said, I agree.  No way Henne can handle Buffalo's defense.
